Canberra might be known for its abundance of politicians and public servants, but for the nation’s food-lovers, it also has a thriving culinary culture that is getting better every year.
The Eatery team were tasked with further cultivating that reputation, via the development of a landmark modern Japanese restaurant. From the naming strategy and initial conception through to the opening week, both our design and operational teams were invested to bring this dining experience to life.
RAKU embraces texture, movement and imperfection at every touch point, creating a unique brand and venue, which has won recognition across Australia, including their 14th Chefs Hat AGFG Award and Top 5 ACT restaurant in Gourmet Travellers Restaurant Awards 2022.
