Arrive at a bygone epoch where the glasses are joined in cheer, a low hum of gentle music sets the pace and art deco features invite you to settle in and sip signature cocktails expertly concocted in The Douglas Club’s heritage setting.

The Douglas Club bar and seating

Conjuring images of Golden Age travellers stepping off a silver Douglas DC-3 aircraft and sauntering into a lively bar, The Douglas recreates the spirit of a 1930s cocktail lounge for a new age.

Named after the glamorous silver Douglas DC3 aeroplane, our branding strategy for The Douglas Club embraced the 1930s and all the glamour that came with it. Evoking images of luxury travel, jazz trios, smokey clubs, hefty cocktails and fabulous feather boas, The Douglas Club is an intimate bar that embraces the mystical, yet highly scientific, art of cocktail making.
